Musings on an EPIC trip
Well ladies, after having spent an hour working on my clever little rundown of our
Argentina adventure, I managed to mysteriously erase it all with a stroke of the hand [2 days ago], and so naturally I cant help but be a bit bitter about the situation. SO, I’m apprehensively going in for round two. BUT, since it was such a KICKASS, blog-worthy experience, HP02 is going to suck it up and be a good sport about it.

ANYWAY, so after over a week to think about it, HP02 is ready to report about the vacation of her life,
wherein HP01, 02 and DenverHotPants went to Argentina, the land of tango, steak dinners and ridiculously attractive men. We indulged perhaps a bit much in the food and libations department (it’s
just what they do down there), but we made up for it with our KICK ASS extra-curricular activities. Zip-lining, rappelling thru the jungle, horseback riding and trekking in the foothills of the Andes, the Aconca
gua [highest peak in the Western hemisphere], not to mention shaking it in Buenos Aires until 4 in the morn!! HP02 is here to tell you, ladies, it was epic. Reverse seasons are hard to get used to, but not that hard. And a HUGE shout must go out to HP01’s marvelous peeps in the Motherland – cousin Pedro and Uncle Eddy in BA, Uncle Edgardo and the rest of the family in Mendoza- they were so gracious, fun, and so mother-fing cool!!
And in conclusion, HP02 is pictured here in 20 degree weather, sporting the tankini like the HP patriot that she is. Hey man, I may not be participating in the Little Pecker this weekend, but I will sure as shit be there with my cow bell!!

AND, I got to ride Brad Pitt…as it turns out the guy who took us horseback riding in the Andes gave a helping hand on the set of “7 Years In Tibet” in the late ‘90s (which was filmed in Argentina), and he worked with Brad Pit (who was a skinny prick, blah blah blah- really, surprise surprise), but this local tour operator named one of his horses acco
rdingly, and as fate would
have it- guess who I got to mount?? Thats right, BP. Epic, ladies, epic.
In conclusion, I have to say that Argentina is *off the hook*. It is SO worth the 12 hour flight. My first solo tri isn’t until mid/late August, but I’m thinking that if I can jump off a ledge at least 200 ft. off the ground in a foreign country with no legal paperwork, with nothing but a karabiner between me and death itself, I can survive a swim/bike/run on my own. BRING IT!!

Shake it while you work it.
Since 03 loves the tambourine and since faithful HP's are always looking for good running songs...
Also, when her heavy bangs grow out a little bit more, 03 is thinking of chopping her hair to match E-V-E's 'do. Thoughts?
